Artificial. This is a new extended beach with sand imported from the Jordan deserts or something like that. I wouldn't drive all the way to St. Julians to swim here, but I must admit they have done a good job in transforming this bay. If you're staying in the Sliema, St. Julians area, then this one might be your everyday beach.

It's very easily accesible, park just next to it. Since its in the heart of a Hotel and Entertainment centre, its mostly frequented by summer students learning english in Malta.

Getting there. Drive to St. Julians or Paceville and follow the signs to the Intercontinental Hotel or Bay Street shopping complex. You'll find it easily. There are also the Corinthia St. George Hotel and the SAS Radisson Hotel next to it.
